Snow place like home!

I survived the Hyde family road trip two thousand and eleven! We drove to California and spent a magical two days at Disneyland and California Adventure, then played at the beach on Sunday, and drove thirteen hours home yesterday. Good times were had.

Chloe: "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?"

Mama Ging: "Fiji!"

Everett: "Target."

Legitimately. The boy loves his Target. I will post a major photo overload post tomorrow, but I am too sleepy right now.

Also, I read the entire seventh Harry Potter on our vacation. Did I mention I LOVE Harry Potter? And reading books for funsies?

In other news, I live in South Jordan again! Provo was good to me for eight months, but it is good/weird to be back home. It is strange to run into people that I haven't seen since high school... "Oh hellooooooo, person I never planned on seeing again. Awkward small talk? Yes college is great. Life is good. I see you have put on a few pounds? Wonderful. Until the next time I run into you at Rio (aka the melting pot of South Jordan)..."

On the plus side, I get to be with some wonderful people! Like this girl! 

Did you know she is a professional sculptor? She won four awards in Bingham's art show, which I attended. It was cultural :) and Schmaren is so very talented. 

Today I miss my best friend a lot.

I also started my internship today for Barbara Barrington Jones. I have learned so much already! I am so very excited for this summer. I get to work with some amazing women!

Well, I am shleepy. Today has been a long one! And the week will only be busier.
