San Francisco/Idaho week!

Three weeks ago I spent a week with the wonderful Barbara Barrington Jones (my amazing boss) and my best friend Jourden! Barbara asked us to accompany her to BYU-Idaho as she was speaking at Education Week.
We first flew to San Francisco because Barbara had a business meeting there.

My first time on a plane since I was 5! I was seriously so excited. Also, we had a lot of luggage. Jourden and I  were dressed up the whole week, and a highlight was a French lady coming up to us at the airport and telling Barbara that we were "candy for her eyes" because of the way we were dressed. Bless French women in airports.

The first night we got to San Fran, Jourden and I took the car and went exploring. We got lost, and finally ended up at Berkeley!

We spent a day exploring San Francisco. It was a perfect day! This is at Scoma's, the most amazing seafood restaurant I have ever been to. Probably the most expensive meal of my life. Whatevs.

Fun fact about Barbara: she LOVES carousels! Cute, right? We went on one in Idaho too!

In front of Alcatraz!

Ha! This is mostly an inside joke between me and jourd. Sometimes (all the time) she can't read.

besties:)

San Fran has strange bathrooms. They clean themselves  every time someone uses them. Also, they will randomly start giving you directions while you are in the middle of peeing. It was quite frightening.

Hyde street! Holla.

Hyde Street Pier!

Barbara took us to the palace of Fine Arts! It is seriously one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
I could have sat there for hours.

We convinced Barbara to drive down Lombard Street! This is at the bottom:)

Jourden and I didn't take any pictures in Idaho.... unfortunately. Rexburg was hopping  with cute old ladies, but not much else.
The best was Barbara being amazed by how much Jourden and I ate during the week...embarrassing. This week was one I will remember forever!
